In case anyone missed it, Woodland Trust are promoting a fantastic opportunity for your school, community or scout group to apply for a number of trees to plant yourselves, as part of a project to educate about planting, the environmental impact of planting more trees in our world, and about coming together as part of a community to make your area that little bit greener!

We want to make sure that everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree. So we’re giving away hundreds of thousands of trees to schools and communities.
Before you start you’ll need to:
-
Know the six digit grid reference for the land you wish to plant using the grid reference finder
-
Have permission from the legal landowner
-
Read through our short list of FAQs. They are packed full of important and useful information which will help your application.

We at The Grange Nursery love hearing about community projects that help make things green and we want to do what we can to help spread the word about this incredible scheme. So keep sharing and lets get as many trees planted as we possibly can.
